A Total Solar Eclipse will be visible from Kuranda at sunrise (local time) on 14th November, 2012 (weather permitting).

Kuranda, the village in the rainforest, is located 330 metres above sea level in the Cairns Highlands and a short 30 minute drive from Cairns International Airport.

Just 10 minutes from the village of Kuranda, "Amaroo" is located close to the centre line of totality at Latitude 16 degrees, 48 minutes, 4.2588 seconds. 

Weather permitting, people viewing the eclipse at it's eastern most point at this location will see it for it's maximum time period of just over 2 minutes.

• Transport to and from "Amaroo" is at the responsibility of the client or we can arrange transportation.
