Kuranda Villas is the only fully furnished and self-contained holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Kuranda, making it an ideal location for single travellers, couples, families or friends.  It is the perfect base for exploring Kuranda, the Atherton Tablelands, Port Douglas, the Daintree, Cape Tribulation and Cairns. 

Centrally located at 12 Barang Street, Kuranda Villas is within walking distance of all the attractions within the village of Kuranda.  

There are so many exciting attractions to experience in Kuranda and on the Atherton Tablelands that it makes sense to spend at least a few days enjoying life in this glorious part of the world.  

If you're arriving in Cairns by plane, hire yourself a car and make your way to Kuranda or catch a bus to the village with Trans North Bus Service, which runs buses from Cairns to Kuranda for $8.00 each way (adult fare) or John's Kuranda Bus.  Bus timetables can be found on the back page of the online version of the Kuranda Paper.  Airport transfers to Kuranda available with Chakana Travel - info@chakana.travel or mobile 0437 440 996.

Visitors arriving in the village via the Savannahlander Train, Kuranda Scenic Railway or Skyrail Rainforest Cableway have only a 5 minute walk to Kuranda Villas.  

There is now a half hourly air-conditioned shuttle bus service from The Honey House in Kuranda to The Barron Falls and Wright's Lookout daily between 9 am and 3 pm.  It's now possible for guests who choose to come and stay in the village, via the train or Skyrail, to visit these sites without the 6 km round trip walk in the heat of the day.
